Frequently Asked Questions
- How do I start a new game?

Tap New Voyage on the home screen, choose your crew
size (2–8 players) and number of rounds (1–10), then assign avatars
and names to each player.
- Can I resume a game I left in the middle?

Yes! When you reopen the app, you'll see a Resume Voyage
button on the home screen showing your current round and crew. Your
progress is automatically saved between sessions.
- How does scoring work?

The app implements official Skull King scoring rules, including bonus
points for 14-cards, Skull King × Pirate captures, Mermaid × Skull
King captures, Pirate × Mermaid captures, and Loot cards. Tap
Rules Reference on the home screen for the full
rulebook.
- The music stops when my screen locks. How do I fix it?

Make sure you're on the latest version. Background audio is supported
and music should continue playing while the app is in your pocket.
- How do I change the theme?

Tap the scroll icon (📜) on the audio control bar at
the bottom of the screen to toggle between the dark voyage theme and
the parchment (light) theme.
- I think I found a bug. What now?

Email us with a screenshot and a quick description of what happened
and what device/iOS version you're on. We'll get back to you within a
few days.
Privacy
The Pirate's Ledger does not collect any personal information. All game
history is stored locally on your device. No accounts, no logins, no
tracking.
